Falster stone and fossil collection gives a unique insight I what fantastic items can be found on the stony beaches of all northeast Falster coastline.

Here we exhibit the biggest collection of stones and fossils half of the local finds are from the beautiful east coast named Hesnæs Strand and in the gravel pits of the region.

On display can be seen the most significant finds of Falster,”Dromiopsis elegans” 30’000 crabs of this species has been found but never with claws as this particular specimen. Also a 450 million years old giant squid can be seen.

The thousands of Danish findings are supplemented with foreign findings.

Beside the stone and fossil collection there are changing art exhibitions with paintings and sculpture. As well as activities with artists creating sand sculptures and the possibility for spectators; both children and adults to engage in real sand sculpturing.
